I had the pleasure of eating at Tacos Don Lalo recently and I was thoroughly impressed by their food. I can't say enough about their Lenguas Tacos, which were an absolute flavor bomb. The taste was spot on, capturing the essence of what true, authentic Mexican cuisine should be. The double corn tortillas were perfectly made - soft, yet firm enough to hold all the fillings without falling apart, a feat that speaks to the mastery behind their creation. The lenguas (beef tongue) was exquisitely cooked, incredibly tender and plentiful - I was amazed by the generous amount they stuffed into each taco! Their garnishes were right on the money, serving up a freshness and crunch that beautifully complemented the main attraction. From the line of crisp lettuce to the sharp tang of the radishes, they added an extra layer of texture and flavor that took the whole experience up a notch. One of the highlights for me was their side salsas, the red and the green. They had the perfect balance of flavor and heat, providing a delightful kick without overpowering the taste of the tacos. A masterstroke in balancing different elements of the meal. Overall, if you're looking for authentic, delicious tacos, Tacos Don Lalo should be on your radar. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

SO good! We found this spot while looking for another food truck that happened to be closed. These guys were open late for a Sunday (I think they are open from 3 to midnight). They have a very simple menu. Call to place your order then go park by the food truck & they'll call your number over a loudspeaker when your order is ready. We ordered an Adobado Torta and Adobado Tacos. The red sauce is HOT! Tacos come with lettuce, lime, radish and a charred jalapeño on the side. Torta was huge! The bread was amazing. We read that this place is all cash so that's how we paid. Will visit again!
Ok, I struggled a bit with giving 5 stars because so many people flock to the places I share with them, making wait times for food crazy. But you know what, it is my duty as a Yelper to inform us foodies where to get our fix. With that....here we go! The tortas are hands down some of the best I ever had. See pic of the inside of this beauty. Carne asada, jalapeños, queso fresco, lettuce, tomatoe, fresh sliced avocado,etc, on a perfectly toasted artisan bread with crema....OMG. The tacos are bomb! I will update this review with more pics also soon as possible. Stay tuned.
We've been loyal customers for almost 3 years now. This is, HANDS DOWN, the best taco truck in The Springs. And the prices are amazing. We go there every weekend, 2 or 3 times! Cash only!
